端午節前，基隆關加強政風廉政宣導，要求同仁切實遵循「公務員廉政倫理規範」規定，落實不收禮、不接受邀宴招待，以及不得涉足不妥當的場所等廉能規範，並要求同仁若遇到「與其職務有利害關係者」所為的財物餽贈，或邀請參加飲宴應酬等情事時，均應主動婉拒，若有財物餽贈或受邀飲宴應酬等情事時，需依規定辦理登錄簽報主管，並知會政風室。

基隆關政風室於節前也以不定時方式執行查察作為。政風室指出，同仁如遇有受贈財物禮品，而未能即時予以婉拒情形，可經由政風室協助退還；同仁如有拒收餽贈、拒絕不當邀宴應酬等嚴守廉政倫理行為，經查證屬實且足堪表率者，視情節依規定簽報敘獎。
