補市區警力抽調郊區警員兩郊區派出所降等晚上打烊

【陳世河／台中報導】東勢警分局為讓警員符合警政署工作不超過10小時規定，將轄區較偏遠的茅埔和永源二派出所警員，各抽調一人至東勢派出所與新社分駐所，讓這兩個派出所警力可以符合上班時數規定，但遭抽調警力的兩派出所卻因人員不足，改成早上6點開門晚上12點關門的值宿所，二地民眾得知罵聲連連說：「街上需要警察鄉下就不需要嗎？還是鄉下人生命安全不值錢」。

東勢區長葉玉錦不滿表說，人手不足警局可從人力充足市區調配，只要調撥兩個人進來兩派出所就可以不降等、不關門打烊，為什麼要犧牲民眾權益，難道鄉下的民眾是二等市民？台中市警察局行政科長陳文龍說：「全市警力分配狀況都還在檢討中並未定案，二派出所改成值宿所後，已先增加規劃區域巡邏密度因應」
