【連欣儀／綜合外電報導】薩默思（Lawrence Summers）放棄角逐聯邦準備理事會（Federal Reserve，Fed）下一任主席，推升投資人認為較偏向繼續寬鬆的現任Fed副主席葉倫（Janet Yellen）就任機率大增，激勵亞股上漲，其中MSCI明晟亞太指數一度上漲0.6%，港股一度大漲逾1.4%。
