義消競技選拔 600人灑熱血

新竹市義消總隊27日在香山運動場舉行選拔賽，約600名義消報名參加，頂著豔陽，揮汗扛著厚重裝備模擬救災現場，大夥賽後累得氣喘吁吁，但直呼「好熱血」、「撐完全程很有成就感！」入選者將代表竹市參加明年全國賽。

新竹市義消總隊蟬聯5屆全國義消競技冠軍，明年將問鼎6連霸，義消弟兄們都有勢在必得的壓力和榮譽感，在賽前數月先舉行選拔賽，挑選菁英中的菁英代表參賽。

昨天一早，600名義消們趕赴運動場暖身，不少親友也陪同到場打氣，比賽開始，參加負重救生競賽人員首先揹起20公斤重的氧氣鋼瓶及重裝備，拔腿快跑60公尺，再進入模擬火場中救出66公斤重假人，並鋪設灌救水線，過程相當緊湊，細節絲毫不得馬虎。

賽完的義消在激烈較勁後，紛紛累癱在地上揮汗如雨，但還是拖著勞累身軀到場邊為其他打火弟兄們加油，現場歡呼、叫好聲不斷，觀眾也直呼「好刺激！」

義消總隊長鄭成光表示，據總隊規定，選手只要3次救災訓練無故不到就會被剃除資格，參賽的600名義消都是陣中菁英，為準備明年全國賽咬牙訓練。
