國道中山高速公路北上彰化路段昨（十七）日上午發生拖板車追撞小轎車再撞護欄的車禍事故，造成一人輕傷，這起車禍造成塞車五公里，有些駕駛不耐久候，違規行駛路肩，險象環生，國道三隊交通組長黃修哲指出，警方將視警車行車紀錄計畫面，對違規行駛路肩的車主，依道路交通管理處罰條例第三十三條規定開罰四千元。
