「那是什麼怪味道啊？像芭樂味，又像農藥！」宜蘭市24日晚上8點起，有許多民眾聞到一股濃濃的怪味，有人PO在臉書問大家可有聞到，許多人都說有，還聞到頭暈，就連鄰近宜蘭市的員山鄉也聞得到，怪味飄散的範圍不斷擴大，縣環保局的報案電話接到手軟，陽大附醫就診民眾也紛紛探頭問那來的怪味，受不了。

縣環保局長陳登欽說，那種味道像是紅心芭樂壞掉，味道瀰漫一大區，久久不散，他們先派稽查員去找味道從何而來，但是一直無法突破，9點多，請求環保署毒災應變隊去採集味道，希望能解開怪味之謎。
