宜蘭櫻花公園 9成櫻花樹枯死

宜蘭市公所今年3月在縣政中心打造約2,700坪的「宜蘭櫻花公園」，當時由市長黃定和率領千位市民一同種下千株櫻花樹苗，可惜，櫻花樹苗抵受不住今夏高溫、酷熱及颱風豪雨襲擊，目前只剩下近百株苗木存活下來，存活率大約一成，近九成櫻花樹苗大量枯死。宜蘭市公所表示，預定9月中旬至10月上旬委請開口契約廠商，辦理補植。

宜蘭市長黃定和表示，日後將持續加強「宜蘭櫻花公園」的維護管理，並請開口契約廠商細心澆水、除草、施肥，護養櫻花公園成為宜蘭市的亮點。
