葉連人事案 共和黨員有疑慮

（路透華盛頓9日電）美國總統歐巴馬今天將提名葉連（Janet Yellen）擔任聯邦準備理事會（Fed）主席，民主黨員大力相挺，但共和黨員就沒有這麼支持葉連。

許多共和黨員憂心，聯準會將隔夜利率維持在零，及大規模收購債券以壓低借貸成本的政策，恐怕會導致資產泡沫，通膨升溫。 田納西州參議員寇爾克（Bob Corker）發布聲明表示：「副主席葉連2010年掌聯準會的任命案中，我投下反對票，因為她對貨幣政策採取鴿派看法。」 共和黨籍的寇爾克說：「我們將密切檢視她那段時間以來的紀錄，但我沒看到任何顯示她改變看法的跡象。」 阿拉巴馬州另外1名共和黨籍參議員薛爾比（Richard Shelby）表示，葉連「傾向印鈔票」的立場，及她擔任銀行監管者的過往紀錄讓他心生疑慮。 不過民主黨員握有參議院100席中的54席，預期葉連還是能在參院取得所需的60票，克服所有程序關卡。中央社（翻譯）
