台股下跌30點，收8,344點，成交量835億元。

歐美股市因美國舉債上限疑慮而下跌，台股因此以低盤開出，開盤下跌30點，其後金融股出頭帶動指數逐漸上揚，一度觸及平盤，但電子股轉弱，無法站穩，雖金融股依舊穩健上揚，仍未能扭轉局勢，終場小跌。

焦點股是金融族群，由於兩岸「金保會」即將在台舉行，其中政府受惠最大就是金融和保險股，使得相關類股連兩天走強，表現搶眼。

技術面，今天K棒出現一根十字線，表示多空勢力平衡偏弱。日KD的K線已走平，如果死亡交叉，短線上會出現背離。但周KD仍是良好的向上且未走平，短線即使回頭修正，中線仍有再創高的可能。

成交量前五大是開發金、新光金、國泰金、中壽、友達；成交值前五大是國泰金、聯發科、台積電、宏達電、富邦金。

類股漲跌方面，跌幅較大的有油電、造紙、電機、光電、生機、水泥、航運、塑膠、橡膠、玻璃；上漲的有金融和百貨貿易。
