美對台灣漁民遇害 僅表示遺憾

（法新社華盛頓13日電） 美國今天對1名台灣漁民遭菲律賓海岸防衛隊射殺，表示遺憾，但未對此加以譴責。

美國國務院發言人柏莎琪（Jen Psaki）告訴記者：「我們對1位台灣漁民5月9日在海上與1艘菲律賓巡邏船對抗時的悲劇死亡，感到遺憾。」

她說：「美國一直就此事與菲律賓政府和台灣當局接觸，我們樂見菲國政府有關進行充分和透明調查的承諾。」

在記者們力促她作出比較堅定的表態下，柏莎琪仍只表示，美方持續籲請各方，「避免採取挑釁行動」。

她並說：「此案將有調查行動，我們會密切留意。」
