休斯遭打爆　不滿1局狂失7分

洋基與水手今進行3連戰第2場，洋基棄將伊巴涅茲(Rual Ibanez)1局上就敲出滿貫砲，單場2發全壘打，助水手以12比2獲勝，日籍投手岩隈久志輕鬆奪下本季第5勝。
 
伊巴涅茲去年球季結束後未獲洋基續約，轉而投靠水手旗下，他這兩場面對老東家，上演棄將大復仇戲碼，2場比賽敲3發全壘打8分打點，砲火猛烈，今天的滿貫砲更讓洋基先發投手休斯投不滿1局就狂失7分退場吞敗。
 
岩隈久志本季轉專任先發後，出賽8場，其中7場都投出優質先發表現，是水手最穩定的先發投手。
