中壢一名吳姓男子，去年購買《變態王子與不笑貓2》小說閱讀後，上網批評翻譯錯誤百出，還稱「翻譯回家吃自己算了」、「這本書就是去吃屎吧」、「我幹你老師」。

經黃姓譯者提告，吳男出庭表示，接觸日文長達5年，一般讀寫沒問題，還指翻譯內容有「122個錯誤」，但當檢方拿出一段原文內容要他朗讀及翻譯，吳男卻啞口無言，昨依加重誹謗罪起訴。
