請問各位可以幫我解釋以下的英文?

We will go with the 50% down and the balance upon release of document.

這是我們客戶所寫給的回信
因為我們是第一次交易
所以在之前我寄了一封信告知他要
50%的down payment
50%是收到down payment的一個月後要收到
然後等到收到尾款才會把提單正本寄送給他

'the balance upon release of document.''
這一句我不太懂意思
可否請大家幫幫忙!
