巴爾的摩金鶯隊再度於主場遇上堪薩斯皇家隊，結果金鶯隊靠游擊手J.J. Hardy擊出2分彈，最後就以5:3銳不可擋，拿下4連勝。

金鶯隊先發投手Chris Tillman主投6局被打5支安打失3分，但是隊友老早就幫他攻下5分，最後讓他拿到本季第3勝。

前場球金鶯隊贏的辛苦，我國旅美好手陳偉殷的勝投也因雨隨之消逝，不過這場金鶯打線相挺的方式更猛。

2局下近況火熱的Manny Machado先安打上壘，接下來Hardy相中皇家隊先發投手Luis Mendoza的滑球，一棒扛出左外野，讓金鶯隊以2:0先馳得點。

Alex Gordon連續2場開轟，不過金鶯隊火力很幫忙，5局下又馬上以戰術影響皇家隊，Machado安打建功，自己又盜上二壘，再趁捕手 George Kottaras傳球失誤，金鶯隊單局再攻下3分，讓比分拉開到5:1。

Mike Moustakas6局上也開砲，擊出2分打點全壘打，不過為時已晚，最後金鶯隊還是順利贏球。

金鶯隊終結者Jim Johnson連續34場救援成功追平球團紀錄，當時紀錄為1997年Randy Myers所創。
